690 Soldiers Awaiting Adoption

Eileen,

I can't thank you enough!

It's great that you went into the Soldiers' Angels website and added more information onto your own site. It gives me hope that women and/or men will take up the cause of supporting our troops with some form of unselfish kindness. Hopefully it will take place all over the USA. Our troops should never be forgotten no matter where they are. They are, after all, protecting us.

I am grateful that I stumbled into your website - you are spreading so much good information.

Sincerely,
Kris

P.S. I am now working on my 8th lap blanket (45 x 50) and will make many more. Take care!

God Bless AmericaHi Kris,

Wow #8! I'm really impressed. I don't knit or crochet anymore because it is so time-consuming. I understand how much effort goes into each project.

I'm also running your letter in the March Artful Crafter Digest. It is going out late this month because we're on the road and my techie DH says he simply can't send it out using dial-up from a hotel room. There's a lot of formatting and coding he needs to do. I get to do the fun part - writing it. Anyway, watch for it next week (Monday I hope).

I hope that the press will lead more crafters to Soldiers' Angels. I'm with you - we can't let our soldiers think we have forgotten them.

Best wishes,
Eileen

[As I write this, there are 690 soldiers waiting to be “adopted” by an Angel. Will you be one?]
