Stamping a Window Envelope Card


Cut a window in an envelope to give the addressee a little sneak preview.

My great-niece Karen is peeking through the window in the invitation above.

I wish you could see how cute she looks running along the beach with her younger brother, T.J., on her heels. You can see them both a bit better in the fully illustrated tutorial on How to Stamp a Sneak Preview Envelope Card.

The window cutout needs to be to the left of the envelope, allowing room for stamps and addressee information on the right.

This example uses a sun stamp to frame the window, but any chunky stamp with an area that can logically be cut away for the viewing window will work.
