Making a Digital Window Envelope Card
Yesterday I showed you a window envelope card made with a stamped design.
You can also create a sneak preview envelope card digitally. There’s so much about digital paper crafting to love, I hardly know where to begin. The flexibility is phenomenal.
In yesterday’s tutorial, my design was limited by the available foam or rubber stamp designs. The nice thing about art stamps is that they can be used over and over, just like digital products. There are also beautiful inks that can be used for stunning effects with stamping.
On the down side, I had to find a stamp just the right size to showcase the photo element in the window. With a digital design, I can resize, recolor and even distort to suit my needs.
Digital design products are amazingly affordable and don’t take up tons of space in my craft room. They do however, take up tons of space on my hard drive and I am having to learn all about data protection and backup. Like they say, “There’s no free lunch.” LOL.
Which design do you prefer: the Stamped Window Envelope Card design; or the Digital Window Envelope Card design?
