What to do When Your Decoupage Yellows

I really need some help. I am doing decoupage coasters on marble tiles. I glue the paper on, use Mod Podge and then use a finish. I have used polyurethane (oil) sprays and they sometimes turn them yellow. I was going to try clear acrylic spray such as Krylon, but heard that it could leave white rings.

I bought a DecoArt DuraClear non-yellowing varnish (polyurethane). I tested it today and it left a white ring, but the ring disappeared after a while. The DecoArt company thought maybe I did not let it "cure" long enough.

This got me thinking about the Mod Podge and how long to wait before putting the varnish on?

I need help on all of it. I have gotten lots of conflicting info. I also need it quick as I have some orders to fill.
