Saturday Craft Link Swap #256

Happy Saturday! Don't you just love Saturdays? Even if you work from home, Saturdays still seem special somehow and we tend to take more leisure time and more time to get out about to see what's happening in the neighborhood. Or we invite some friends in.

Today I've invited Andrew Thorton, Carmi Cimicata and Brandi Hussey to share what they've been up to this week.

Carmi has done something wonderful with a vintage pocket watch. Brandy demonstrates how color palettes can shine in your creations. Try one of hers if they appeal to you. I'll have a hard time choosing.

Finally Andrew reveals his most recent bead challenge. Do you know how his challenges work? It's really cool. Andrew puts together an inspiring kit of beads and assembles only 20 of them. There's always a keynote element which sets the theme. The kits are first come; first served. They literally fly off Andrew's shelves.

This month he makes a point I reiterate often. We may all start with the same materials but, unless our goal is to make an exact copy, each piece will be wonderfully unique. As a final touch, Andrew showcases each participant's creation on his blog.

Have a beautiful Saturday. I hope you enjoyed this little neighborhood visit.
