28 Cards in 28 Days: Design #3

This is a brief update on my progress toward making 28 cards in 28 days. I finished  working with two more of Aly Dosdall's 28 designs.

Design #3 is so happy and bright that I can't wait to use these cards. So I made the word art buttons generic: "Hi There!" and "Hello Friend."

I said "working with" because the second card, which I'm sharing today, bears absolutely no resemblance to Aly's design. I didn't have one of the necessary supplies, a four-inch paper doily to use for the resist technique.

However, I wanted to stay with the spirit of the class and use some kind of resist in my card.

My "Joy" card came out so pretty and original that I'll share it in a separate tutorial. Oh joy!

Experimenting resulted in a new glimmer mist recipe, which is the prettiest glimmer mist I've ever seen.
