Plus Scrap Stacks has monthly challenges. You know me - I'm a sucker for challenges. Nothing inspires me to create like a challenge or a swap deadline.
Each month at Scrap Stacks a designer releases a new layout template for you to download free. The challenge is to create a scrapbook page using it and then upload it to the Scrap Stacks gallery.

It contains no less than 40 layers of embellishments plus spaces for journaling and photos! Amber admits, "I am truly a lover of paper layers and lots of elements! I created this template in my traditional style and I hope you find it fun to use!"
I did find it fun to use. I didn't use all the elements and I moved things around a little. That's what makes each person's layout unique. Even though we're all using the same basic design, some will flip it, others will change out some or all of the embellishments and, of course, we'll all choose different papers and photos.
When you're done with your layout, upload it to the Scrap Stacks gallery for the particular challenge. Then have fun browsing the other layouts submitted for the challenge and marveling at the versatility and creativity.
"Tahiti Dreams", shown at top, is my submission this month. In addition to Amber's template, I've used papers and embellishments from Scrap Girls.
Meet me in the Stacks?
