That was me today. I grabbed the essentials – my hubby and my camera – and off we went for a stroll. It certainly helped that we happen to be in beautiful San Antonio for a long weekend.
Here are some of the results ...
Cypress tree roots that look like a mob of meerkats …
Flower photos with a nice bokeh (blurred background) effect which I plan to enhance …
A Riverwalk cascade ...
and one of me – taken by my DH – getting my creative batteries recharged.
Yup, I brake for Inspiration. What do you do when the ideas refuse to flow?
Wow, gorgeous...and very inspiring. I hope the weekend was wonderful and you are completely recharged from being around all of that beauty!
ReplyDeleteThanks, June. We head back home tomorrow. I'm rarin' to go with lots of new project ideas and supplies. Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteYes! My camera is my friend :-) So are my "fine art" books, and all the books at my public library. (So is the occasional trip to the movies to see something uplifting like Iron Man 2...)
ReplyDeleteGreat suggestions, Cyndi. Thank you. My problem with the art books is if I pick one up, I can't put it down. lol.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE San Antonio riverwalk! and mall. You should have seen us back in November. We had just finished the San Antonio Half Marathon, could barely move yet there we were hobbling down there to get some mexican food and margaritas!
ReplyDeleteDon't get me started on the wonderful food there, Deb. I should do a half marathon to take off the pounds I put on!
ReplyDeleteGreat memories.
