Find Free Crochet and Knitting Patterns Online

My boyfriend loves the Dallas Cowboys and I want to crochet him a blanket. I want it to be a big blue star in the middle of the blanket with a row of silver around that; then the rest of the blanket blue.

My question is how do I make a star? I have an idea to use diamonds then hook them together to form a star.

Any ideas or can you tell me where to get a pattern???????

Thanks for your help.

  1. Eileen,

If Renee wants to use a graph like you generated, she would need to make a full graph showing all the rows she will need and then incorporate the star into the graph.

As an example, she would chain 108 and do a few rows of single, double, half double crochet in the background color.

She stated the star would be blue and the rest of the blanket would be blue so maybe she is just doing a silver outline of the star in the middle. I would think an off white with the blue star in the middle but whatever.

If she just wants to do the silver outline she would need to mark the graph so she knows just when to change to the silver yarn. A good size would be about 105 rows of half double crochet but she can decide on the size needed.

    Hope this helps.
