Precautions to Keep Candle Heat Away from Decoupaged Candle Holders

Hi,

I would like to decoupage an image on a glass candle holder. I need to print it from my printer but I want the paper to be translucent. I know I can print on clear acetate but will it withstand the heat of a burning candle? If it can, what is the best way to do it?
