Thanks a lot and I hope that I will hear from you soon
Thanks,
Lorie
Hi Lorie,Here's the only picture of a Mason jar lamp which I have on The Artful Crafter. Sorry!
But you can easily find many examples by doing an online search on "Mason jar lamp". Then click on the "Images" tab.
You might also try searching on Pinterest. Pinterest itself has mages only; but you might even find an image you like which links to a tutorial on the source website.
Just curious, if you put a lampshade on top of the jar, why would there be lights on the bottom of the jar? It's usually one or the other: light bulb/candle bulb on top of the jar or lights/candle inside.
Regards,
Eileen

ReplyDeleteThank you! Glad you liked it :-D
ReplyDeleteI've seen lamps like this done with lights both above and below, but usually the lower one is like a night light.
ReplyDeleteAaah, good idea. Thanks, Cyndi!
ReplyDeleteMight have to try this with one or more of the dozens of canning jars I have laying around here... Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy mom made me a mason jar lamp with a copper shade. She left the bottom empty so I could fill it myself. I used a combination of vintage lace and buttons from my button jar - definitely the lamp of a crafter :-)
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago, I found kits for making the mason jar lamps, and made a couple of them. I filled mine with things from my mother-in-law's sewing basket and let my daughter fill hers the way she wanted. These are fun lamps! I looked to see if the company where I bought the kits still sells them, and sadly, they don't....
