Better Late than Never?

I have read your articles about transfer paper and different kinds. I still don't know which to use for my craft. We did a belly cast and I want to put the baby’s footprints on it and make it look like it was painted on. Which paper is the best to use to transfer a copy of the footprints to make it look like I really inked the feet and put them on there?

I appreciate your help on this.

Baby Footprint PendantHi Rachel,

I’m sorry for the slow reply on this. It came just at our busiest time of year – lots of Thanksgiving and Christmas projects to get done and posted. I’m sure your little one has been born by now and hope you are all doing well.

Perhaps you saw the Baby’s Footprint Pendant which I made using Lazertran waterslide Decals. Your belly cast is life size and, assuming you would want the baby footprints to appear life-sized as well, Lazertran Waterslide Decals would be perfect.

The only caveat is that the decals do not conform well to curved shapes. So keep the footprints small and place them on a flatter part of your belly. Then follow the rest of the directions from the Footprint Pendant tutorial.

Regards (and apologies),
Eileen
