Finding (and Crafting with) Waterslide Decals

Lazertran & Polymer Clay PendantWhere in Ontario Canada can I buy your Water Slip Decals for Inkjet?

Lloyd

Lazertran Soap & GlassHi Lloyd,

The Artful Crafter is like a magazine. We don't sell any products. We publish informative (we hope!) articles and carry advertising to pay the bills.

I assume you are referring to Lazertran Waterslide Inkjet Decals, which I have written quite a bit about. I have only found them at Mister Art and ordered them online. The shipping (even in the U.S) is quite expensive.

I have written to the company to suggest they reconsider how they calculate shipping and handling. Something the same size as a thin catalog, which weighs about the same, should not cost much to mail - even to Canada.

The more customers and potential customers who register complaints about S&H costs that seem to be profit centers of their own, the more chance companies will listen.

Sorry to get on my soap box, but I've had several letters from Canadian crafters recently who can't afford to import supplies from the U.S. because of the high shipping and handling costs on top of any import duties. It's a shame.

Anyway, I hope you can find the Lazertran Decals at a reasonable cost. They are a great product and really fun to use. The photos show some Waterslide Decal Projects I have done.

Regards,
Eileen
