Hammondsport NY Keuka Palettes 2009

Hammondsport NY Keuka Palettes 2009Dale wrote to me a while back for advice on finishing off a decoupage project that would be exposed to the elements while displayed outdoors for a couple of months.

On Labor Day weekend, the works of dozens of “starving artists” will be auctioned off in a fundraiser to support Hammondsport, New York's community programs, as well as the contributing artists.

What fun to watch your art being auctioned off to the highest bidder and know you are helping your community at the same time!

Hi Again Eileen,

I just wanted to let you know that I recently submitted my palette and I think that the method you suggested for sealing it was just what I needed. I'm attaching a photo but I don't think you'll be able to see the details in the papers which are the best part. Thanks again for your help.

Dale

Hi Dale,

I zoomed in to see all the neat detail. I love how you did the stripes for the tiger fish and all the fishy eyes. I think kids of all ages will enjoy examining your decoupage close-up. It's like one of those pictures that becomes something else the longer and closer you look.

Regards,
Eileen
