I'm sorry, but The Artful Crafter is not a retail site. We have no products or warehouses. We're like a magazine with advertisers (who want you to buy from them).
However I have written an article on finding Wholesale Yarn and I bet if you contact the mills themselves, you may be able to get some yarn donations.
I have one more suggestion: one of my favorite magazines, Good Housekeeping, runs features about women who make a difference. The magazine is very supportive of efforts such as yours. If your letter were printed (be sure to include photos of yourself and some of the lap blankets) or they decided to run a feature article, imagine the audience you would reach! Last time I checked, Good Housekeeping had almost 5 million readers.
