I struggled to write a parody of Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s famous poem, but just couldn’t make it work. It was too corny. The rhyming structure wouldn’t allow me to say what is in my heart.
So I decided to literally and simply count the ways that I love all the dear readers of this blog and The Artful Crafter website, all the subscribers to The Artful Crafter newsletter and RSS feed and all the members of The Artful Crafter (Google Friends) Community.
I love you for:
1. Your letters which challenge and guide me in editing The Artful Crafter and creating new projects for you;
2. Your readership and return visits, because without them The Artful Crafter would cease to exist (We’re like the tree that falls in the forest. If there is no one to hear it, does it make a sound?);
3. Your expressions of appreciation for help on a project, for business advice, for a tutorial that was helpful to you, for articles you enjoy enough to save or bookmark;
4. Your purchases of my original patterns (For an artist, the highest form of flattery is for someone to actually buy one’s work!); and
5. Simply for being there and traveling this artful crafting journey with me.
Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day with love,
Eileen
Eileen we love you and your site as much as you could ever love us. If there is another site out there this complete, I haven't come across it. You do such a top notch job at giving us all what we want and then some. Thank you, thank you.
