Photo Restoration: Hi Daddy, I Love You!

When I first suspected that the old damaged photo was of my dad as a toddler (which I shared yesterday), I dug out a photo of him as a young adult. I believe it is from his college graduation.

Then I did a comparison of facial features and sent all the info to my brothers and sister. I titled it "Are These the Same Person: Thomas Joseph Bergen II?" and wrote:

"Could this pudgy-faced toddler have turned into the handsome young man above?

Similarities: very typical (of dad) serious (or severe) expression; "triangular" eye shape (wide at the nose and narrowing toward the ears); eyebrows which slope up to the arch with no downturn, quite thick at the nose; Cupid’s bow mouth.

After zooming in close to restore the photo, there is no doubt in my mind that this [toddler] is Dad. When I got to the face, it was as if he was staring right at me.

A bit eerie, but exciting as well."

I can’t wait to get their reactions.

Again I’m thinking of the CSI TV show and humming “Who Are You? Who,who? Who, who?” :-D
