Post-it Note Holder Made With Card Stock & Graphic Designs
Post-It Holder Covers
I created these little holiday-themed Post-it holders and submitted the idea to Scor-it.com a few months ago.
My Post-it note project idea was selected as their Project of the Month for December, 2008!
Post-It Holder In Use
In the intervening years, Scor-it was acquired by Zutter so you can no longer find this project in the Scor-it.com project gallery. You can now find it on our site in Post-it Note Holders for the Holidays.
The ornament stamp and swinging Santa examples pictured here were designed in Photoshop using graphic products by Scrap Girls designers Cheryl Barber, Erica Hite, Diane Miller, Brandy Murry, Melissa Renfro, Shalae Tippetts and Ariadna Wiczling.

This is such a cute idea! You could really make some cute ones! "I love how you did these.
ReplyDeleteThank you Shalae. That means a lot coming from you!
ReplyDelete[For my other readers: Shalae is one of the designers whose Scrap Girls products I used for this project.
I used one of Shalae's Dynamic Brushes to do the edge stitching on the swinging Santa cover.
Dynamic Brushes are so cool! When used for stitching, it's like the difference between a sewing machine and sewing every stitch by hand. What fun!]
I've never seen the Scor-it site before. thanks for the link and the ideas :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting featured!
ReplyDeleteCute project. I'm a fan of stickies. I can't rid myself of the habit, but I did buy recycled ones on the last round.
Thanks Peggy. I had to buy some nice ones for the project ;-)
ReplyDeleteBut usually I use the ones offices and businesses give away for advertising.
I also love the roll of sticky paper because you can tear out just the amount you need - no waste!
Hi Eileen:
ReplyDeleteI love the idea and Craft Project of the Month you did. I would love to make some but I don't have anything like Photo Shop and wouldn't even know how to begin. Maybe I can do it another way. What a great idea, as always!! I am always needing a piece of paper while out and about. I'm sure all my friends would love one too.
I love checking in on your site as there is always so many projects I would like to do.
Keep up the great work in this new year.
Love,
Shaaron
Hi Shaaron,
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm glad you like my Scor-it P.O.M.
Of course it can be done without Photoshop! You could make these from used greeting cards or colored card stock. I've even made a fabric one lined with plastic as a stiffener.
Put on your thinking cap. I want to see a P.O.M. by you at Scor-it in 09!
Thank you for being such a great reader and contributor in 08.
