We Want More Ornament Ideas!

You always have such great newsletters that are so enjoyable and you have interesting things to share, plus you and your team are always so helpful!

It's the helpful part I am needing today. I would like to place some designs, or images or just text on some Christmas ornaments.

So far this is still in the idea stage, so I am looking for a source for the ornaments that would allow themselves to be written on or image added in some way, and second a process to place the image or text on the ornament that would be professional looking.

What would you suggest?

Thank you, Marlene. It's letters like yours that keep me going! I love a crafting challenge and some of my best ideas evolve from reader questions.

I already have a bunch of ornament ideas on The Artful Crafter. You’ll find them in the Christmas Crafts section of our Holiday Crafts Index. But I went out and bought some more Christmas ornaments and am brainstorming new ways to decorate them.

This time of year you can find plain ornaments almost anywhere: dollar store, drug store, grocery store, craft store, home improvement store.

They are available in glass as well as plastic. Glass ornaments are tricky to work with since they are so thin and delicate. Some of the plastic ornaments look surprisingly nice.
