  1. Well you know i never knew that much about yarn. I sure didn't know they made glow in the dark! How cool is that?! I've crochet a baby blanket for my daughter eons ago and i made myself a scarf one year......and thats the extent of it although i threaten to do more all the time. So thank you for all that info. I made the baby blanket out of RedHeart yarn i think. I have no idea if its natural or synthetic . But i can tell you it has held up to repeated washings throughout her childhood. :) Hugs! deb

  2. Hi Deb,

I used to knit and crochet a lot. Seeing some of the beautiful new yarns like ladder and eyelash yarns and what people create with them have got me yearning to take up my needles again!

  3. I always thought i'd like to learn how to knit socks...Seems like a useful thing to know incase you know..the world ends and you can't go to Walmart and buy socks anymore. I could be the SockLady....Cause everybody needs socks don't they? LOL! Hugs! deb

  4. In that doomsday scenario, I would knit large scarves because they could be wrapped around any part of the body which is cold. Plus they're easier to knit than socks ;-)
