Acrylic Paint Stamping Technique: Good Alternative Stamping Medium

Do you notice anything unusual about the stamped image in this Christmas card? Me either. It was stamped using ordinary acrylic black paint. I happened to be out of the stamper's go-to pigment dye black ink and wondered what to do.

Now that I know how well acrylic paint stamping works and how easy it is, I will be doing it more often.  Acrylic paint stamping is certainly less expensive and gives you a much broader range of color choices. On the other hand, you can't just snap a top on an ink pad when you're done stamping. So any leftovers go to waste.

  2. Thanks, Deb. Do you mean are the stamps hard to clean? No they're not. I'll add a paragraph on that. Soap and water clean up is easy-peasy.
