If you ever receive a fancy card that has a pretty die cutout like the stenciled rose on this card, DO NOT THROW IT OUT! Use it to create stencils to use over and over.

The blue card was a tri-fold wedding invitation and the die cutout rose gave a peek preview of the layer beneath. I was so intrigued with the card that I set it aside. Eventually the idea to create stencils with items like this struck.

    What a brilliant idea Eileen! I like to think i would have thought of this if i had received a card like that but you never know.....my 'crafty' brain is not always turned on.....lol But you my crafty guru , your crafty brain is always on. :)I will definitely keep an eye out for cards like that. :) Hugs! deb

    I think I've saved Chistmas Cards like this. When I get the Christmmas decorations out, I hope to uncover them.
