Is there anyone reading this who doesn't have a tube of E6000 Craft Adhesive in the house? I thought not.
Then you'll love this video by Susan Street of Vintage Jewelry Supplies.
My favorite tip is the mini-pastry bag idea, which minimizes the noxious odor, preserves the product left in the E6000 tube and gives you better application control.
Susan also shares a great organizational tool at the very end. It's one I use religiously.
E6000 Glue is an industrial strength craft adhesive that's ideal for bonding wood, fabric, leather, ceramic, glass and metal.
E6000 is:
- Safe for photographs,
- Clear, waterproof and paintable,
- Washer/dryer safe,
- Flexible hold and
- Non-Flammable.

Love the tips about the e6000 glue Eileen. Its been my go to glue for years... This last time i went to buy some they had no clear...can you believe that? They had hook after hook of white.. sigh so i ended up purchasing 9001 glue...it was clear and weather and waterproof and good for glass so we'll see.... I'm getting ready to redo those solar belljar lights i made earlier in the year as all the gems have fallen off.... I was hoping to use e6000 like you suggested but ah well.... cross your fingers. Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed, Deb ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this vid. Lots of inspiration and good tips. I too have had trouble finding E6000 clear in the store. My tube developed a hole on the side so I need to find some soon! NOTHING else will do.
