The Artful Crafter New Personalized Keepsake Calendar

"I'm late. I'm late – for a very important date." That seems to be the story of my artful crafty life.

Each year – well, two years running now – I try something a bit different for the desk calendars I make for myself and a few special friends.

This year:

1. I tried to get the calendars done before the New Year began. Oh well, it took me until the 12th of January this time, about the same as last year – sigh.

2. I printed the calendars from my new laser printer. Yay! The print quality is beautiful and the colors won't bleed. No worries if one happens to drip something or touch the page with wet fingers.

3. I used a scrapbook layout on the top half of each page. I love doing digital scrapbook layouts, though I'm very slow at it. (That's my excuse for being late again this year; and I'm stickin' to it!)

The digital products, including the perpetual calendar templates, are from Scrap Girls.

I'll be sharing the monthly pages throughout the year. Heeere's January …

Thank you, Diana. I saw one layout you did on your blog - the Christmas card. The depth of field on the photo really made the window card look 3D.

Tell me something... How does the cost of lazer printing compare to ink jet printing? I've always been curious. Is the color reproduction good? The layout looks great.

Thanks, Ro. That's high praise coming from you:D

Shame on me. I didn't do the cost analysis before buying my laser printer.

I have now. You'll find it in Laser vs. Inkjet? How You Create Determines Which You Need.
