Recycle Clear Plastic Jugs into Halloween Jack-o-Lanterns or Treat Dispensers, Conclusion


A clear plastic jug can easily be turned into a Jack-o-Lantern or treat dispenser for your Halloween visitors.

Plastic Jug Jack-o-LanternYou'll also need:

• Serrated knife
• Scissors
• Black permanent marker
• Martha Stewart Craft Paint – gold metallic and orange metallic
• Deco-Art Glow-in-the-Dark Paint medium
• Paint brushes – wide flat one for painting inside and small pointed one for the pumpkin's features
• Cardboard core from a roll of toilet paper – or make your own stalk from whatever cardboard you have on hand
• Green crepe paper
• Decoupage medium
• 1 stem of artificial foliage which resembles the large leaves of a pumpkin vine
• Round nose pliers
• Inexpensive heavy gauge household wire
• Wire cutters for the wire (do not use your good jewelry wire cutters)
• 2 strips of cellophane tape about 3 inches long
• 5 or 6 battery-powered tea lights if you plan to use the pumpkin as a Jack-o-Lantern
