What is your favorite artwork which you created and why?
It's hard to choose because each piece reflects a side of me. But, perhaps my favorite is the hand painted zebra print serving tray, which shines so beautifully with the resin at the bottom, you just have to touch it. The patchwork designs are a lot of fun too.
What crafting or art tools are on your wish list?I would like to try painting with an aerograph, an airbrushing tool. I would also like to try resin casting.
Where to Find Patty’s Work
Patty sells her work primarily at charity fundraisers in Caracas, Venezuela. She finds this to be great exposure and leads to word of mouth and repeat orders. The charity charges space rental and a percent of sales. So it’s a win-win.Her website is currently in the planning stage, but Patty’s still trying to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. LOL.
Her primary job is as a personal trainer. Patty also takes art and watercolor classes. She doesn’t want to lose the fun of creating her decoupage art by turning it into a full time business.

What a talented artist Patty is- I love the patchwork tray-it's beautiful! Thank you Eileen for featuring Patty- I've enjoyed seeing her work and learning more about her :)
That is a neat set up she has for selling her work. She could also use some place like Etsy if she isn't ready for a full blown web site.
I know, Kim. Her trays are really special.
I wish I could fly down to Caracas just to see her entire display.
She keeps telling me the photos don't do justice to the gleam and depth of the epoxy coat she uses.
Thanks for the suggestion, Tammy. You have the Etsy experience (which I lack).
I wonder if it would work worldwide. Shipping and customs get to be such huge expenses and issues.
These are so cool! What a talented gal. I've never worked with epoxy like that, but it does really add something special to them, doesn't it?
