Have you ever thought about starting a craft blog?We get to craft; we photograph; we write; we learn to program and write links; sometimes we whine or rant a bit. We get to connect with other craft lovers all over the world.
It’s a lot of fun and a lot of work. What keeps us going or makes us wanna quit? Let some of my craft blogging friends tell you why they do it.
Today’s Interviewee: Tammy Powley
1. The best part about blogging is … it's a fast and easy way to update my site, much better than using HTML as I once did.
2. The worst part is … there is pressure to update more than I have time to do.
3. The hardest part about blogging is … thinking of topics I think other people will be interested in reading about.
4. The easiest part is … it (Wordpress at least) is very user friendly.
5. One thing blogging has changed about me is … I don't think I've changed, but it has given me a chance to get to know a lot of crafters I may not have met otherwise.
6. The most exciting thing I’ve blogged about was … well, obviously, my jewelry making books.
7. The most-used item in my craft room or studio (not counting the computer) is … my hand tools: round-nosed pliers, wire cutters, chain-nosed pliers.
8. The most neglected item is … my torch.
9. On Sunday mornings, I read the paper with a cup of hot tea in my hands.
10. I know my blog has an impact when … I get lots of comments.
Tammy blogs about her jewelry books and the crafting life at TheCrafty Princess Diaries. You can purchase some of her lovely jewelry and tutorials at her Crafty Princess Etsy Shop.

Even though I got to know Tammy before any of us were blogging, I do feel like I know her so much better through the (more-or-less) daily writing that we do! Thanks for profiling her :-)
