Advice on Selling Large Lots of Craft Supplies - Part One

[Continued from Wednesday.]

I don't think a school, community center, or group would "buy" the supplies, though they could donate and get a nice tax write off. If they want to sell the supplies, Etsy, Ebay, or Artfire are options. They could also list it in craigslist.

I'm with Tammy, most groups would want it donated, but at least it would be a tax write off, like she said. Otherwise I would suggest they put "lots" together and post on craigslist, Etsy and places like that with a price for each lot.

It’s more work but people are more apt to buy groupings of things. You might suggest they get the big flat rate boxes and whatever they can fit in a box that constitutes a lot. Then they can take a picture of the lot and post it and know exactly how much the shipping will be as well.

HTH!

To be continued tomorrow.
