My First Blog Award – Woohoo!

One of my blogging friends, Vicki, awarded me this lovely blogger award. Thank you so much, Vicki! I’m honored.

Now in return for receiving the award I have to do seven things:

4. Tell you seven things about myself that you probably don't know – ooo, that’s tough, since I’ve pretty much laid my entire life before you on this blog and my website;
5. Choose seven great bloggers to give this award to – that’ll be easy, as well as fun;
6. Give a link to their blogs – goes without saying;
7. Leave them a message on their blog – I do that almost every day anyway.

Seven things about myself you probably don’t know:

1. I sing first soprano in our church choir but only discovered that I have a decent voice in my late 50s;
2. I am pretty shy but have learned to put on an outgoing demeanor;
3. I am directionally challenged and extremely grateful someone finally invented the GPS;
4. I require a straw to drink soda from a can;
5. I am a coca-holic (as in Coca Cola not the other coke) – I’m talking a 6-pack a day habit;
6. I performed in South Pacific a few years ago and did the splits on stage (the whole cast loved hearing the audible gasps and moans from the audience each night); and
7. I flunked kindergarten because of dyslexia, which I think has actually helped me in my art – the dyslexia not the flunking!
