I managed props for a recent community theater production of "The Dresser". It’s a tradition at our little theater for the various managers to give personal notes or a little gift to each member of the cast for all their hard work.
The actors loved the tasseled and laminated bookmark mementos. For the main characters, I chose one of their personal lines from the show. For those with bit parts, I used one quote for all. My favorite quote is, "I want a tranquil senility!"Here's how to make Laminated Tasseled Bookmarks.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift. I just ordered some laminate sheets - I wonder if this would work for fabric. I need to try it with some of my stitched bookmarks! I needed the tassel tutorial too!
ReplyDeleteI think it would work with fabric, especially stiff fabric such as is used for cross stitching.
ReplyDeleteIf the fabric is softer, treat it with fabric stiffener before laminating.
