Laminated Tasseled Bookmarks

Personalized BookmarkI managed props for a recent community theater production of "The Dresser". It’s a tradition at our little theater for the various managers to give personal notes or a little gift to each member of the cast for all their hard work.

Personalized BookmarkThe actors loved the tasseled and laminated bookmark mementos. For the main characters, I chose one of their personal lines from the show. For those with bit parts, I used one quote for all. My favorite quote is, "I want a tranquil senility!"

Here's how to make Laminated Tasseled Bookmarks.

  2. What a wonderful gift. I just ordered some laminate sheets - I wonder if this would work for fabric. I need to try it with some of my stitched bookmarks! I needed the tassel tutorial too!

  3. I think it would work with fabric, especially stiff fabric such as is used for cross stitching.

If the fabric is softer, treat it with fabric stiffener before laminating.

Thanks for sharing this link, but unfortunately it seems to be down... Does anybody have a mirror or another source? Please reply to my post if you do!

I would appreciate if a staff member here at the-artful-crafter.blogspot.com could post it.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

  9. Hi Thomas,

I checked all the links and they seem to be working fine. Perhaps one of the source servers was having problems when you tried.

    Please try again.

P.S. The Adobe links are ALWAYS slow to load, so be patient :-)
