Hello Eileen
I have a lot of plain glass ornaments that I would like to jazz up. They are the colored glass kind, e.g. green, gold... etc...
I was thinking of decoupage – some images with paper and or fabric. Do you have any suggestions? I go to a lot of dog shows and was thinking of doing certain breeds.
Any suggestions would be great! Thanks again!
Judith
============================================
Hello Judith,
So nice to hear from you again.
Lucky you. I’ve been having an awful time finding plain glass ornaments to decorate. I’m on a quest. I would like to find clear, gold and silver ones as I think those would provide the best backdrop for images.
Anyway, here are some ideas for Decoupage Christmas Ornaments.
You’ll find a lot more ornament ideas in the Christmas Crafts section of my Holiday Crafts Index Page.
Here are a few ornament articles to help you get started.
• Christmas Ornament Tips
• Hand Painted Christmas Ornaments
• Transfer Digital Images to Christmas Ornaments (I really need to do more work on this technique. It has promise but I’m learning as I experiment.)
• Glittered Christmas Ornaments
• Glitter Design Ornaments
• 3D Fabric Painted Ornaments
I’m getting in the Christmas spirit just looking at all these. Have fun!
Eileen

I remember your ornaments from last year! Thanks for the reminder and the links :-)
Thanks, Cyndi. I've made a new bunch for this year and just need to write the how-tos.
They're beautiful!
Nice ornaments. I won't be decorating this year though. Too complicated since I'm moving in December. Plus, my cat would destroy everything anyway...
