On this day that we set aside to give thanks for all our blessings, I want to thank all the readers of this blog, as well as visitors to my website, The Artful Crafter.
I’ve frequently said that it’s my readers who give direction to The Artful Crafter. It really is thanks to you that we have succeeded and grown. After answering a reader question or putting up a new project in response to a reader suggestion, I frequently get a nice note of thanks. Now it’s my turn.
Thank you for coming. Thank you for your ideas and comments. Thank you for asking for help with your crafting problems. You are the lifeblood of this enterprise and the reason we continue to exist.
Yes, my DH and I work very hard on The Artful Crafter, but it is a labor of love. How fortunate I feel to be able, at this stage of my life (60+), to return to my artistic roots, and make a living doing something that I so dearly love.
I made the beaded napkin rings, the place cards and sewed the tablecloth and napkins for our holiday table. I thank God for all the talents He has given me, for my wonderful supportive husband of forty years, for all my family and friends – including you, dear readers. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and many blessings all year round.
Sincerely,
Eileen
